Montagne de Reims

The Montagne de Reims lies in the heart of Champagne, between Reims and Épernay. It forms a ridge of hills with vast forests and rolling slopes, and it has its own microclimate. Chalk-rich soils and vineyard exposure produce grapes with real power and structure.

The Montagne de Reims is best known for Pinot Noir. Here, the grape finds ideal conditions: cool nights, plenty of sunshine, and soils that deliver intensity and ripeness without sacrificing finesse. The result is characterful champagnes that balance power with elegance.

In total, the Montagne de Reims includes 10 Grand Cru villages and 13 Premier Cru villages. The Grand Cru communes are: Ambonnay, Beaumont-sur-Vesle, Bouzy, Louvois, Mailly-Champagne, Puisieulx, Sillery, Tours-sur-Marne, Verzenay and Verzy.

It’s a region every champagne lover recognizes by its style: intense, refined, and inseparable from world-class Pinot Noir.
