Champagne (Francis) Orban has been producing champagnes since 1929. Today, the estate is managed by the very passionate Francis Orban.

The winemaking history of the Orban family dates back to 1929, with Léopold. A true pioneer, he was the first to install a press in Leuvrigny, a small village in the heart of the Vallée de la Marne, in the charming Vallée du Flagot. Léopold Orban began making champagne, and this adventure would become a true source of inspiration for his son, Gaëtan.

Gaëtan committed himself to developing the commercial activity and promoting the vineyard during what is known as the '30 glorious years.' He dedicated all his time to expanding the brand and expertly led the sales activity to place the approximately 40,000 bottles that the estate produced at that time.

At the same time, he built the cellar, the winemaking facilities, and also the house where Francis and his family live today, with his own hands. This powerhouse was still plowing at 70 and received visitors until almost 90!

Francis became passionate about working in the vineyards and winemaking at a young age. As a child, he first followed his grandfather among the vines and later his father in the vineyard work. He decided to continue the family history by creating Champagne Francis Orban in 2007. The brand grew quickly, first in France, especially among restaurateurs and wine merchants, who were pleased to receive cuvées made entirely from Meunier grapes. Francis meets his professional clients one by one to explain his choices in the winemaking process.
